It’s Lonely Here In These Streets: 9 Months Later Part 3

As L.A. continues to struggle with what steps they should take to take in order to combat the ongoing COVID-19 cases, we know one thing for sure: the restaurant industry in Los Angeles is taking the brunt of the decisions the city is making. We continue to hear the stories from restaurant owners not knowing how long they can continue to stay open for and continue to see restaurants closing. Part Three picks up during the winding weeks of the @getmarkk #StepoutforDTLA campaign as @blackownedfoodla and I were reaching out to restaurants wanting to participate. I met up with her at @bokettocoldbrew and before we headed out to spread the message about the campaign to other restaurant owners, I had a chance to speak with Ben who is the owner. This is his story of how he has been dealing with how his business has been affected by COVID-19.
